Follow these simple steps to get your Instagram session ID. Takes 2 minutes.
Go to instagram.com and make sure you're logged in to your account.
⚠️ Use the account you want to send DMs from
Press F12 on your keyboard (or right-click anywhere and select "Inspect")
Alternative shortcuts:
• Windows/Linux: Ctrl + Shift + I
• Mac: Cmd + Option + I
At the top of Developer Tools, click:
• Application (in Chrome/Edge)
• Storage (in Firefox)
In the left sidebar, expand Cookies and click on:
https://www.instagram.com
In the cookies list, find sessionid (scroll down if needed)
Click on the Value column for sessionid and copy the ENTIRE value.
It looks like: 54762918864%3AAHkXfGKrL3fN...
Go back to GOBLINREACH and paste your session ID into the "Instagram Session ID" field.
Click UNLOCK SESSION and wait for confirmation.
Once your session is unlocked, you can start sending DMs using any of the 5 targeting modes.
• Never share your session ID with anyone else
• Session IDs expire after 1-7 days (you'll need to get a new one)
• If Instagram asks you to re-login, get a fresh session ID
• Use the same browser/device you normally use Instagram on
Can't find sessionid cookie?
• Make sure you're logged into Instagram
• Refresh the page and try again
• Check you're looking at instagram.com cookies (not other sites)
Session unlock fails?
• Session ID might have expired - get a new one
• Make sure you copied the ENTIRE value (no spaces at start/end)
• Complete any Instagram security challenges first
Instagram asks for 2FA?
• Complete the 2FA challenge in your regular browser
• Then get a fresh session ID after completing 2FA
